Day 29: The Forgotten Post
Hi everyone, it's been a crazy couple of days at a conference and while my head said yes, you should post, my fingers didn't type. It's been a weird few days with lots of ups and downs.
I will back date this to the correct date so that there isn't 3 posts on the same day. I was surprised to find that after not posting for one day, I felt guilty but after the third day, the guilt went away. I guess that's why we "drop" so many things. Maybe you started a new year's resolution and then there was one day when you forgot to do it and felt bad, in your mind saying "I'll do it tomorrow and make up for today", but then it was Thursday and you missed the whole week. So, you claimed yourself as a failure and went on about your day, never going back to fix your mistake.
I get it. The easiest way out is to quit. While life definitely gets in the way, this journey isn't one I'm looking to give up on. I need a voice, an out. And, I'm sure you do too.
So many of us are alone on the Internet that that's how we connect. Quite funny, isn't it?
I'm going to stop this post here as I finish eating my General Thai chicken for lunch and get back to work. Next post will be on change - so look out for that.
